About

My name is Matin Tavakoli, also known by my artistic pseudonym, Matili ARt. I’m a 32-year-old artist with a background in architecture, which I studied at university. My passion for art began in childhood, and I’ve been creating ever since. After working as an architect for two years, I transitioned to a full-time artistic career in 2016, focusing on a diverse range of mediums and techniques.
My expertise includes:
2D & 3D Animation
Film Editing
Digital Collage Art
Motion Graphics
Architecture
Photography
I’m proficient in Adobe software, such as After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as Cinema 4D and TouchDesigner. Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with various artists worldwide, bringing their artworks to life through animation.
In June 2023, I embarked on my NFT journey, , I have built a growing international presence. My work has been selected for NFT NYC in both 2024 and 2025, and my animations were screened in Times Square, a moment that highlighted the global resonance of my visual narratives. I have exhibited across major art events, including Art Basel Miami (2023 & 2024 & 2025) in various independent and curated showcases. Additionally, I have sold a substantial number of artworks across different blockchains, including Ethereum, Tezos, Solana, and Base, engaging deeply with the Web3 art community as a creator and collaborator.
A key part of my artistic journey has involved meaningful cross-cultural collaborations. From 2018 to 2023, I worked closely with Hana Moazeni (formerly known as Hana Shahnavaz), a British-Iranian fine artist. Together, we developed a series of animated films based on her traditional Persian paintings. These works were exhibited internationally, including three separate showcases at the Saatchi Gallery in London, as well as exhibitions in Paris and Dubai. One of the short films I edited was featured on BBC Persian, where it was shown during an interview with Hana about her work and practice. This collaboration combined her intricate visual storytelling with my motion and animation techniques, creating a hybrid format that engaged both traditional and contemporary audiences.
In recent years, I have also co-created the digital art brand Chazitilii, in collaboration with artist ChazWesleyy99. Under this name, we have produced a growing body of animated and conceptual works that explore themes of intimacy, surrealism, and personal mythology. Our artworks have been exhibited on multiple platforms and digital art events, and many pieces have been successfully collected on chains such as Ethereum, Solana, Tezos, and Base. To learn more about our collaborative work, checkout Chazitili or our website : chazitili.com .
Beyond this, I have collaborated with over 30 international artists across the Web3 space,
including well-known creators such as Ali Sabet, Anna Zubarev, Joki Argu, Freaklandmama, and …. These collaborations span a variety of styles, formats, and markets, and many have resulted in highly successful editions sold on multiple chains.
I had the honor of being a guest on HOPe: The Hour of Power with Marc Mauro, where I shared insights about my art journey and the creative process behind my work. You can watch the full interview to learn more about me, my inspirations, and my artistic vision.
